Ous Service

      Computer and Information Network Center(CINC) is Southern Taiwan University's central organization for technology-based services for University students, faculty, staff, and administrators. Computer and Information Network Center provides computer, network, and Internet services to the entire University. Computer and Information Network Center connects people to people, to their work and studies, and to the information, training, and technical resources they need to achieve their goals.  
Service is Computer and Information Network Center central focus and concern. Here, in brief, is who we are and what we do.  
1. Information Services
  Technology services for faculty and students, in support of research, scholarship, and instruction; computer labs, classes, information of each Affair and more; development and management of web, email, and of strategic technology.                          
2. Network Management
  Operation, management, evolution, and security of Southern Taiwan University's large-scale technology infrastructure, such as flow capacity management, server management, IP control and more; and computing resources supporting a wide range of essential, computer-based University services.  
3. Application and Software download
  Computer and Information Network Center supports Southern Taiwan University-practical information applications and available software download for Southern Taiwan University faculty/ staff and students. The access request process for each application and software is slightly different. If you need to access these applications, you don’t need your Southern Taiwan University’s ID. Otherwise, you will need Southern Taiwan University’s Network ID to download on-campus software.  
4. Online Learning
  Computer and Information Network Center Online Learning services for all faculty, students, and staff, provides several online learning materials which not only benefit faculty/students enlarge their knowledge but also advance faculty/students competition at their professional filed.  
5. Computer classrooms & labs
  Southern Taiwan University has been integrally involved in developing classrooms to support instructional technologies. These computer classrooms are available through the Computer and Information Network Center and offer the instructor many opportunities to enhance and develop new ways of presenting course material. Computer labs are located on 2nd floor in the library. They can also vary greatly in the types of computing services and also printers are available in labs.  
6. ePortfolio
  Southern Taiwan University students record themselves’ learning process on a Southern Taiwan University server and the option to create and publish a personal page in the portfolio.
